什麼是運動醫學?


運動醫學是指與運動有關的醫學研究包括生理學,人體工學,人體結構及運動心理學。運動醫學在我們的生活上佔有重要的角色,由我們的日常運動至專業運動的表現提升以至預防受傷均需要豐富的運動醫學知識。




運動醫學如何影響健康?


  1. 根據世界衛生組織的運動建議,每名成年人應該每星期進行最少150分鐘的體能活動,方可達至改善心肺功能、肌肉骨骼健康、減低患上抑鬱症風險及預防疾病如心血管疾病、高血壓、中風、大腸癌及乳癌等等。而如何設計及教授公眾正確的運動觀念及運動技巧便需要運動醫學的知識才可達至良好的運動效果。(https://www.who.int/dietphysicalactivity/factsheet_adults/en/)
  2. 除了針對公眾健康的醫學知識,運動醫學亦涵蓋了大量專業運動的醫學研究。針對不同類別專業運動的運動性質及體能需要,分析各種運動的常見傷患並提出針對性的預防、治療及復康方法。此外,運動醫學亦會分析各種運動的人體力學來研究不同的訓練方向達至提升運動表現的目標。
