While speaking to an audience, Darryl asked them to write down their fears. Later that night, as he read through them, he noticed something powerful. Many people in the same room had written nearly identical fears, yet they left believing they were the only ones struggling. Even more eye-opening, he saw his own fears reflected back at him, written by complete strangers. That moment sparked a mission that has led him to collect and analyze thousands of written fears from people across five generations. No matter their age, background or experience, he discovered that fear is universal, but so is the ability to move forward.

 

 For more than a decade, Darryl has used these insights to teach practical strategies that help leaders build confidence and take action, even when faced with uncertainty and change. He believes the goal isn't to eliminate fear, but to fear less of what holds us and our organizations back.
