Housing Cost

The cost of housing is included with the cost of registration. 

Housing Placements

Delegates will be placed with their institution and region in rooms near each otherGender inclusive housing is available. This should be indicated in the individual registration form. 

Packing List 

To ensure that delegates have the best experience possible at the NACURH 2023 Leadership Conference, below is a packing list of the most important items they will need to bring.


Clothes: Please pack for Indiana Weather

  • Enough clothes for the duration of the conference (Pants, shorts, shirts, etc.)

    • Laundry will be available but at own expense 

      • Detergent will not be provided

    • Ideas for shirts: appropriate & comfortable; school spirit; region spirit, etc.

  • Comfortable walking shoes

  • Pajamas

  • Undergarments

  • Light jacket

  • Spirit day gear! 


  • Brush & comb

  • Shampoo/ Conditioner

  • Soap/ Body Wash

  • Toothbrush/ Toothpaste 

  • Deodorant

  • Shower Shoes

  • Razor/ Shaving gear (if shaving/ needed)

Bed & Bath

  • Sheets, pillows, and blankets will be provided

    • We recommend bringing your own if more comfortable

  • Towels: (bath & Washcloth) 

Misc (optional): 

  • Sunscreen

  • Sunglasses and/or hat

  • Bug Spray

  • Refillable water bottle

  • Umbrella (in case of weather)

North Neighborhood 

Delegates will be staying within the North Residential Neighborhood. The North Residential Neighborhood is home to North Residence, North West, Schmidt/Wilson and Botsford/Swinford (also known as Schmilson and Botswin respectively). Each hall will be themed to fit a literary genre with each floor decorated to fit theme.

Schmidt/Wilson Hall 

Schmilson will be our main hub, where delegates will check in once they arrive. It houses 505 residents and is the tallest residence hall in its neighborhood. During the academic year, it is the home of our Fine Arts and Architecture students. Schmilson will be themed to a mystery genre.

Botsford/Swinford Hall 

Botswin houses 569 residents and is the largest residence hall in the North Neighborhood. The lobby is large and perfect for social gatherings but also homes smaller lounges throughout. Botswin is home to our Telecommunications & Media students during the academic year. Botswin will be themed to fit a sci-fi genre.

North Hall 

North Residence Hall is one of our newer halls that opened in 2020. It houses 469 residents. North Residence hall is spacious and during the academic year is home to our STEM students. North will be themed to fit fantasy lands and adventure.

North West Hall 

North West is the newest addition to our beautiful campus. Opening in 2021, North West houses 502 residents. During the academic year, it is home to our Education students. North West, in correspondence to its students, will be our children’s literary genre.


All the bathrooms in North Neighborhood are pod style bathrooms that assist in providing additional privacy while in the bathroom. Bathrooms are gendered based on gender identified on the registration form. Gender inclusive bathrooms are available by indicating in the individual registration form.
